Across Cultural Consulting partners with business, government, education and humanitarian organizations to make the reality of multiculturalism an integral part of their success. Culture is everywhere, and we encounter cross-cultural situations on a daily basis: whether dealing with the different priorities between the accounting and sales departments of your business, or the head office sending people oversees for a work or volunteer assignment.
I have over 15 years of study and a decade of experience of cross-cultural engagement in a education work in Kenya, and 16 years in small business management. I am a CQ® certified consultant by the Cultural Intelligence Center, so bring years of personal experience and specific training to your cross-cultural opportunity.

I taught"Transformational Leadership" course in Kenya to students ranging from village pastors to university senior administrators. We worked through a textbook provided by the university.
About half way through course, however, I closed the book and said, "This is such a mzungu book!" ('Mzungu' is the Swahili word for a white person, or, more accurately, a foreigner.) The class let out a collective sigh of relief and we began to truly discuss leadership and what it meant in a Kenyan culture.
Cultural Intelligence, or CQ®, is a globally recognized way of assessing and improving effectiveness in culturally diverse situations. It's rooted in rigorous, academic research conducted across more than 100 countries.
