Passionate About Inspiring Others
David is a teacher, writer, mission team trainer and leader and an
advocate of intelligent cross-cultural engagement. After 20 years
managing one of Canada's largest Christian retail stores, and then
managing a leadership development association, David returned
to university, earning a Master of Theological Studies degree. The
focus of his work was on leadership and leadership culture in
organizations.
In 2010 he first visited Kenya to teach a course on writing for a seminary,
Pan African School of Theology.
Between 2010 and 2015 he trained many teams 60 hours of cultural and team-specific training before leading them to Kenya.
In late 2015 he and his wife, Diane, moved to Kenya; he continued teaching and leading. Diane established a library for an elementary and high school in the central Kenyan town of Nyahururu.
In 2018, he was certified to train and facilitate Cultural Intelligence through the Cultural Intelligence Center.
David is also the author of three books, including - "Don't Sing Another Man's Song" which outlines the impact that a visionary leader can have, on those who work with one.
